Steps Trigger Effects: Sensor Interaction Principles and Effects of Interactive LED Floor Screens

Many people have seen floor LED screens that produce layers of ripples when stepped on, and wonder why the image can follow movement instantly as people pass. The core of all this is the sensor chip built into the floor screen, and our DZ1000A series LED floor screen can deliver rich step interaction experiences by optionally configuring this sensor module.
Interaction Principle: How Sensor Chips Capture Steps in Real Time
The underlying logic of the interaction is not complex. Sensor chips are placed inside the floor screen cabinets, working with the display control system. When pedestrians step or walk on the PC wear-resistant protective panel, the sensor chips quickly capture pressure and position signals, analyzing step coordinates, stepping range, and movement trajectory in real time, and transmitting the position data to the paired control host. After receiving the point information, the host immediately calls preset effect materials and outputs the corresponding effects to the LED modules at the corresponding positions, finally presenting real-time feedback where effects follow wherever the person walks. The whole recognition response is fast and fits complex actions such as multiple people walking, jumping, and dancing at the same time, without obvious delay.
Classic Effects: Water Ripples, Dynamic Particles, and Light Trails
With this sensor recognition capability, many classic interaction effects can be unlocked. The water-ripple effect bursts the moment a foot lands, with ripples spreading outward circle by circle around the landing point, and multiple people walking together produce ripples that collide and overlap; in the dynamic-particle effect, scattered light points spread where steps pass, with flowing light particles trailing the walking path, and when standing still, light points gather and dissipate underfoot; the light-trail effect follows the person's movement path with flowing light bands, and the faster the steps, the stronger the trailing light effect.
Extended Play: Device-Free Interactive Games and Wall Screen Linkage
Beyond visual effects, the system also supports interactive games, turning the floor into a game field. Visitors complete selecting, dodging, and level-clearing by stepping with their feet, participating without holding any device. The DZ1000A series also supports linkage with wall LED large screens, so effect images generated by floor interaction can extend synchronously to the facade screen, further amplifying the immersive atmosphere.
