Some general outdoor screens claim IP65 but only seal the front of the modules, with inadequate sealing at cabinet backs, wiring points, and service openings; internal condensation from day-night temperature differences gradually erodes electronic components, making it hard to support the high-frequency use of sports events. Although IP67 supports short-term water immersion, stadiums rarely see sustained flooding, so choosing it blindly wastes cost and is not an ideal perimeter screen choice.
